Transformers Costume Video
The Transformers are a race of Autonomous Robotic lifeforms from the planet Cybertron. As their planet ran out of energon to sustain their life, a civil war broke out between the Autobots, favor peace, and Decepticons, who believe in order through conquest. The only thing stopping the Decepticons are the brave Autobots, led by Optimus Prime, the noble leader of the Autobots.
In the movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, a new robot class, the Fallen was introduced as Megatron’s master. The movie also suggested that the Transformers race had some sort of green blood and could be killed, i.e. as biological beings that could hatch “younglings” instead of being just inorganic robots.
According to the storyline in the Transformers comics, Megatron used to be Optimus Prime’s brother, and they both co-ruled Cybertron. When another alien race came to Cybertron to take the All Spark away, Megatron was gravely injured defending the All Spark. The Fallen helped to heal Megatron and persuaded him to overthrow Optimus Prime and rule the Universe. Megatron then gathered an army of like-minded Decepticons and started a civil war against Optimus and the Autobots. During the battle, the All Spark was lost to space and Megatron quickly pursued it to Earth where he crashlanded into the Artic ice and was frozen in stasis lock until his discovery by Captain Witwicky in the 19th century.
It was reported that director Michael Bay is already working on the Transformers 3 movie, and scheduled to be released in 2011. For the 3rd movie in the Transformers movie trilogy, Megan Fox won’t be returning and there’ll be a new love interest for Shia LeBeouf. Familiar characters such as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Starscream, Sideswipe and Ironhide will return. The Transformer robots are said to have a new look, some looking more mature, others more war-like. New Transformers to be introduced are said to include Shockwave, a Decepticon, although it is not known what his alternate vehicle form is to be.
