In the movie “The Transformers“, it was revealed that Megatron is the brother of Optimus Prime. In the comics, Megatron co-ruled Cybertron together with his brother, Optimus Prime. Megatron served as Lord High Protector. After he was injured defending the All Spark against an alien force, the Fallen heals him and persuades Megatron to join his evil cause, promising power. Under the Fallen‘s influence, Megatron forms an army of Decepticons to acquire the All Spark. In the battle, the All Spark was launched into space and pursued by both Decepticons and Autobots. Eventually, Megatron catches up with the All Spark on earth but was frozen in the ice and remained in statis lock until he was discovered by Captain Archibald Witwicky.
